Job: Co-principal Viola at the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Toulon
The Orchestre de l’Opéra de Toulon seeks a Co-principal Viola (Alto co-solo) for a full-time permanent contract, with a planned November 2026 start. Pay follows CCNEAC group C, soloist classification.
Eligibility
All nationalities may apply. Applicants must have professional experience, higher-level music training, or comparable qualifications, and enjoy their civic rights. Foreign appointees must meet French residence and work requirements by their start date. Equally qualified French and EU candidates receive priority.
Deadline and audition
Apply by 15 October 2026. The audition takes place at Toulon Conservatoire on 30 October at 09:30, with the order drawn at 09:00. Repertoire includes Stamitz, Bartók, Schubert and orchestral excerpts.
