We want to expand the opportunities for works to be judged on their own merits, regardless of nationality, age, reputation or personal connections. Through international competitions, online calls for submissions, features on prizewinners, support for artists and information sharing, we give composers, musicians, artists, lyricists and creators around the world opportunities to present their work.
Alongside our arts activities, we also work on initiatives related to the protection of endangered animals.

Why we need your support
Ise-Shima Art Company is expanding its activities as an international arts platform that operates entirely online. As our activities grow, so do the costs and staffing needed to run them.
In recent years, our competitions have attracted entries from around the world, and we now receive enquiries in many languages, including Japanese, English and Chinese. Helping applicants take part with confidence requires multilingual staff, translation, careful checks and clear, attentive guidance.
Providing a secure environment for managing entries and related materials is also increasingly important. Handling scores, audio recordings, videos, images and application information involves ongoing costs for storage, websites, forms, data management, backups and security measures.
Running competitions also involves a great deal of work: organising application information, checking payments, responding to enquiries, preparing for judging, creating results pages, featuring prizewinners and sharing information in multiple languages. As the number of entries grows, so does this workload.
We want to sustain opportunities for works to be judged on their own merits, regardless of nationality, age, reputation or personal connections. Alongside entry fees and business income, support from people who share our aims makes an important contribution to this work.
