The Ise-Shima Arts Events Organising Committee provides support for musicians from or residing in Mie Prefecture and for past participants in the organisation’s events.
We also plan to support collaborations with musicians who have ties to Mie Prefecture and performances of works by composers from Mie Prefecture, including performances by musicians without such ties. Specifically, this support will take the form of referrals for work related to the organisation’s events. We also accept applications for endorsement of events and concerts organised by musicians who meet the above criteria.
We are also inviting composers from Mie Prefecture to submit their works. We will review submitted works and contact the composer if a work is selected. We plan to promote selected works in various ways.
Only works not covered by a copyright management organisation are accepted. If the composer is represented by an agency, that agency must permit the work to be used free of charge.
Please send a Word document summarising your musical activities (any format; no portrait photograph required), an outline of the event or concert for which you seek endorsement (no more than 500 characters), or a PDF of a work by a composer from Mie Prefecture. Following the committee’s review, we will contact you only if your application is considered suitable for support or endorsement. Please note that it may take a considerable time for us to respond.
