Job: Principal Horn at the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Toulon
The Orchestre de l’Opéra de Toulon seeks a Principal Horn (Cor solo) for a full-time permanent contract, with a planned November 2026 start. Pay follows CCNEAC group C, principal-player classification.
Eligibility
All nationalities may apply. Applicants must have professional experience, higher-level music training, or comparable qualifications, and enjoy their civic rights. Foreign appointees must meet French residence and work requirements by their start date. Equally qualified French and EU candidates receive priority.
Deadline and audition
Apply by 13 October 2026. The audition takes place at Toulon Conservatoire on 28 October at 09:30, with the order drawn at 09:00. Repertoire includes Mozart and Richard Strauss concertos and orchestral excerpts.
