Split International Guitar Competition 2027: €3,000 First Prize, 1 December Deadline
Applications are open for the Split International Guitar Competition, scheduled for 26–28 January 2027 at Hrvatski dom Split in Split, Croatia. The classical-guitar event has two live performance rounds, a first prize worth €3,000 and a regular registration deadline of 1 December 2026. An early-fee option is available until 1 November.

The organiser lists the venue as Hrvatski dom Split, Tončićeva 1, Split. Early registration costs €100 if submitted by 1 November 2026; the regular fee is €115 for entries submitted by 1 December. Two performance rounds
The first round, on 27 January, permits a programme of up to 15 minutes. Finalists perform on 28 January for up to 30 minutes. Repertoire choice is free in both rounds, but pieces performed earlier cannot be repeated in the final. The organisers recommend, without requiring, including music by a Croatian composer. This distinction matters when planning contrasting programmes that fit the time limits.
Prizes and professional opportunities
First prize includes €3,000, a post-competition masterclass, a performance at the winners' concert, a solo recital at the 2027 Glazbene večeri kod sv. Jeronima chamber-music festival and an audio-video recording. Second prize is €1,500; third prize is €500. The rules also include a €200 Goran Listeš special prize for Croatian repertoire and a €200 audience award.

The competition is organised by Croatian Home Split. Published jury members include guitarists Susana Prieto, Alexis Muzurakis, Danijel Cerović and Mislav Režić, among others.
