“Nowe Konstelacje” Composition Competition - ART MINTAKA

Organizer: Fundacja Polskiej Muzyki Kameralnej ART MINTAKA, under the honorary patronage of the Polish Composers’ Union.

Deadline: 4 November 2026.

Entry fee / cost: The official competition page reviewed does not state an entry fee.

Eligibility: Open to Polish composers who hold Polish citizenship or a Polish Card and were born on or after 1 January 1996.

Opportunity / work requirements: The competition is for a 5- to 7-minute work for flute and cello. Electronics are not permitted. Before the results are announced, the work must not have been publicly performed, published in any form, or awarded in another competition. The competition is not anonymous: the score must include the composer’s name.

Support / prize / benefit: The financial prize is PLN 2,000 gross. The jury may award up to two distinctions. The winning work will be premiered on 12 December 2026 at the ART MINTAKA Festival in Bydgoszcz by Alicja Molitorys, flute, and Antoni Majewski, cello. The performance will be recorded in audio and video and published on the organizer’s YouTube channel.

Application method: Email the score as a PDF to info@artmintaka.com with the subject “NOWE KONSTELACJE.” The filename must contain the work title and composer’s name. The email body must include the composer’s date of birth, place of residence, and place of study or work.

Schedule / additional conditions: Each participant is responsible for rights claims connected with the submitted work. The jury’s decision is final under the official rules.
