IVA International Singing Competition 2026: Classical, Musical Theatre and Pop Videos Due 30 November
Applications are open for the IVA International Singing Competition 2026, a remote vocal event accepting singers from different countries and regions. It has three musical fields: classical vocal, musical theatre and pop music. The application deadline is 30 November 2026, and the organisation schedules the results for 30 December.
Age groups and distinct vocal repertoire
Age is assessed at the closing date. Group I covers singers aged 13–18, Group II 19–26, and Group III singers over 26. Each application enters one category and one age group. Students should choose the appropriate vocal technique rather than assume the same piece works for opera, musical theatre and pop music.
The classical category calls for one art song in the youngest group, one art song and one opera aria for Group II, and one art song plus two opera arias for Group III. Maximum video length ranges from six to eighteen minutes by group. Other categories have separately listed selection requirements.
Recording, upload and application fees
IVA uses a single adjudication round based on performance video, with one to three YouTube links accepted through its online form. Audio-only entries are not accepted. A photograph and, where required, payment information must be uploaded alongside the singer's details.
Fees are calculated in US dollars by category and age group, displayed dynamically in the application form. There is no basis for describing the competition as free or stating an identical fee for all groups. The organiser offers limited refunds within seven days of payment under its eligibility conditions, before adjudication starts; entrants should inspect those terms before paying.
Prizes, organiser background and verification
The published recognition consists of award certificates, jury feedback, winners-wall listings and certain distinctions for teachers. These are not guaranteed cash prizes or live engagements. The jury may withhold a ranking if performances do not meet the published standard.
IVA is an independently operated online singing event, with a submission form and 2026 rules on its own domain. The complete jury has not yet been announced according to the current rulebook. Applicants should check the legitimacy and value of participation independently before sharing personal data or paying its designated payment contact.
