IAM CoCompose 2026-2027 - Call for Young Polish Composers

Entry fee / cost: The official call page reviewed does not state an application fee.

Eligibility: Open to Polish composers up to 35 years of age. Four composers will be selected for the 2026-2027 programme.

Opportunity / work requirements: The edition is devoted to Polish Textile Art and asks applicants to propose a new work that enters into a creative dialogue with Polish textile art. Applicants submit a biographical note, three scores, optional recordings, and a concept for the new work in Polish and English. The concept must also state the applicant's preferred performing ensemble.

Support / prize / benefit: Each selected composer will work with one of four ensembles: London Sinfonietta, Ensemble des Equilibres, Ensemble 2e2m, or the Choir of King's College London. The programme includes a gross composition commission of PLN 12,000, a premiere abroad in 2027, consultations, expert meetings and substantive support concerning Polish textile art.
