Organizer and eligibility

Works, deadline and prizes
Submit one work of up to 20 minutes. Any style is welcome: instrumental or vocal music for 1–15 performers, or electronic, mixed-media and video works with or without performers. Previously performed, recorded or published works are eligible. Submit a full score; a recording is encouraged but optional.
The deadline is 15 April 2027 at 11:59 p.m. US Central Time. The non-refundable entry fee is US$20. First and second prizes are US$750 and US$500; the number of awards may change with the entries received. Results are expected in June 2027, with an Illinois Modern Ensemble performance opportunity at the annual award concert.
