Leeds Junior Conservatoire Seeks a Music Theory, Ensemble and Composition Tutor
Leeds Junior Conservatoire is recruiting a permanent, part-time tutor for four hours on Saturdays during term time. The hourly rate starts at £26 and progresses to £28.43, including preparation time and holiday pay.
Teaching and requirements
The role combines theory and musicianship for ages 11–18, an ensemble for ages 8–11, and composition support using tools such as Logic Pro and Sibelius. Applicants need a relevant music honours degree, experience teaching under-18s with varied abilities and SEND, strong musicianship, and Saturday availability. A teaching qualification is desirable.
Applicants must already be eligible to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is unavailable. Appointment requires safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
