Bedminster Down School, an 11–16 secondary school in Bristol and part of Futura Learning Partnership, is recruiting a Teacher of Performing Arts – Music.
Role and conditions
The post is 0.6 FTE maternity cover from 1 January to 31 December 2027, ending earlier if the postholder returns. The advertised pay scale is M2–UPS. Teaching covers Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils’ musical development and performance.
Applicants need QTS and a degree or equivalent. The person specification requires effective classroom practice, curriculum and assessment knowledge, and experience supporting pupil progress. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is unavailable. Appointment requires an enhanced DBS check.
