Westside Chamber Players 2026–27 Call for Scores

Entry fee: $10. The official page states that applicants may request a fee waiver by emailing callforscores@westsidechamberplayers.org if the application fee presents a financial hardship.
Eligibility: Open to United States and U.S. territories-based composers currently enrolled in an academic institution for the 2025–26 school year, including high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Current DMA and PhD candidates are eligible. Spring 2026 graduates and Fall 2026 enrollees are also eligible.
Composition / submission requirements: Submissions should be 6 to 12 minutes in length for chamber orchestra instrumentation, with maximum size 2.2.2.2 - 2.2.1.0 - timpani plus two percussion - piano - harp - strings. Multiple submissions are not allowed, and previously submitted works to the 2023–24, 2024–25, or 2025–26 calls are not accepted. The application materials include two full scores of the same work, one with personal information and one anonymous, plus a link to a MIDI rendition or live recording, resume/CV, and optional cover letter.
Prize / benefit: Two selected works will be performed and recorded during the 2026–27 season. Selected composers receive live performance, audio and video documentation, and travel assistance to attend rehearsals and/or concerts in New York City.
