Deadline: Online materials must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on 1 July 2026.

Entry fee: $10.

Eligibility: Open to composers of all nationalities, with no age restrictions.

Composition / submission requirements: Applicants submit one original work for solo instrument or small ensemble of up to five instruments, based on one or more of the pre-selected Turkic folk songs. Voice is accepted. The work must not exceed 15 minutes. Submitted scores must not include the composer’s name.

Prize / benefit: The competition lists a total prize fund of $3,500: First Prize $2,000, Second Prize $1,000, and Third Prize $500. The first-prize work is listed for performance at Lincoln Center. The official page also states that the best works selected by the jury will be published in the United States.

Application method: Submit the score PDF, MP3 recording, short biography/CV, and entry-fee payment through the procedure stated on the official page.
