Eligibility
Composers who are citizens or residents of Nordic countries:Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Faroe Islands, Greenland, ÅlandNo age limit
Composition Requirements
Instrumentation:
Women’s choir a cappella (SSAA, 4–8 parts), or
Women’s choir and accordion
Solo vocal passages permitted, but choir must play a central role
Duration: 3–6 minutes
Text:
Free theme
Language must be Nordic language, English, or Latin
Composer must hold permission for text use
Work must be newly written
Not previously performed, published, or submitted to other competitions
Prize
Total prize sum: €5,000, distributed among one or more winners
Winning work will:
Be premiered on June 13, 2026
Be performed again at the 40th Anniversary Jubilee Concert on November 7, 2026
Be published by Gehrmans Musikförlag
