Entry fee / cost: No entry fee.
Eligibility: Open to everyone except members of the Franco Committee and the 1st and 2nd prize winners of the 2025 Franco Composition Contest.
Opportunity / submission requirements: The contest is for an original composition for a solo carillon performer. Entries generated wholly or substantially by AI are not eligible. Entries of any length are allowed; the official page gives 3 to 7 minutes as a typical reference for single-movement carillon works. The work must be playable on a 4-octave carillon, though 3-octave or 2-octave carillon entries are also welcome. Published, already performed, or previously prize-winning works are not eligible. Only one entry is allowed.
Prize / benefit: Prizes listed on the official page are: 1st Prize, US$2,000; 2nd Prize, US$1,000; Performance Award, US$150. Winners receive a world premiere at the 2027 GCNA Congress, plus promotion and publication terms described on the official page.
