Dante Moro International Composition Competition 2026

Deadline: 1 November 2026.

Entry fee: €20 for complete applications and scores sent by 1 September 2026. €40 after 1 September 2026.

Eligibility: Open to composers from all over the world, without age limits.

Composition / submission requirements: Section A is for solo piano, piano and violin duo, piano and cello duo, or piano trio, written as a soundtrack for the specified 5 minute 21 second video. Section B is for piano with string orchestra and must be no longer than 8 minutes. Works requiring prepared piano are not accepted. Scores are submitted anonymously with a motto or pseudonym.

Prize / benefit: Up to two winning pieces may be selected for public performance in Falcade, Belluno, Italy, on 29 December 2026. Winners receive a plate or medal, a diploma, one overnight stay in the Falcade area if present at the concert, and a cash prize from a total prize pool of €1,500.

Application method: Submit the PDF score by email to silvia.tessari1@scuola.istruzione.it and orchdolom.bl@virgilio.it. The application also requires the requested self-certification, artistic biography, recent artistic photo, identity-document copy, and payment receipt.
