Deadline: 1 July 2026, 23:59 GMT.
Entry fee: 5,000 yen, non-refundable. The official rules state that applicants may pay by credit card, Alipay, or PayPal through the application page.
Eligibility: Open to applicants of all nationalities, with no age limit.
Composition / submission requirements: The competition is open to a wide range of popular music genres, including songwriting, jazz, rock, film music, game music, Vocaloid, DTM, and related styles. The style and duration of the submitted work are freely chosen by the applicant. Applicants submit a URL to an audio or video file, and the privacy settings must allow the jury to access the file until the results are announced. Submitted works may already have been performed or awarded. Multiple works are allowed, but each work requires a separate application form and fee.
Prize / benefit: Grand Prix: 100,000 yen and certificate. Special Prizes: certificates for up to 35 winners. Diploma of Merit may be given in PDF format to eligible applicants who state their age on the application form and meet the conditions described in the rules.
Application method: Applicants submit the URL of their music file through the official online application form on the competition page. Results are scheduled to be sent by email on 31 July 2026 and published on the Ise-Shima Art Company website.
