Deadline: 1 November 2026.
Fee / cost: 20 euros for complete applications and scores submitted by 1 September 2026. After 1 September, the fee is 40 euros.
Eligibility: Open to composers from all over the world, without age limits, including students from academies, conservatoires, public and private schools.
Opportunity / submission requirements: Section A asks for a composition for solo piano, piano and violin, piano and cello, or piano trio, serving as the soundtrack for a 5-minute 21-second video presentation. Section B asks for a work for piano and string orchestra, no longer than 8 minutes, inspired by and titled after a sculpture or drawing by Dante Moro. All styles and genres are accepted, but works requiring prepared piano are not accepted. Scores must be submitted anonymously under a motto or pseudonym. The submitted composition must be unpublished and never publicly performed.
Prize / benefit / support: Up to two winning pieces may be selected. The public concert and award ceremony are scheduled for 29 December 2026 in Falcade, Italy. Winners receive a plate or medal, diploma, one overnight stay in the Falcade area if attending, and a cash prize defined by the jury from a total prize pool of 1,500 euros.
Application method: Send the score PDF and required documents by email to the addresses stated in the official rules. The application must include the score, self-certification/application information, artistic biography, recent photo, ID copy, and fee payment proof.
