Texas Songwriter U Season 12｜2027年育成プログラム
Overview
Texas Songwriter U has opened Season 12 for emerging Texas songwriters. Entries close at 11:59 p.m. CST on November 1, 2026. Eight selected songwriters will be invited to the 2027 program in the Austin area from January 31 to February 3, 2027.
Eligibility
Applicants must be at least 18 and must have been born in Texas, currently live in Texas, or have lived there for five years. Any musical genre is accepted. Applicants submit two MP3 songs, may use co-writers, and must disclose them. Lyrics and melodies may not be generated or materially assisted by AI; AI may be used only for the demo recording.
Program and fee
The processing fee is $25. Finalists take part in workshops, co-writing, industry activities and performances. TxSU provides accommodation and specified meals, while finalists arrange travel; the organizer states that eligible travel expenses can be reimbursed up to $200 with records.
