Entry fee / cost: Participation fee is not stated on the opportunity page reviewed. Travel and meal expenses are the responsibility of the residents.
Eligibility: The residency hosts artists and researchers, including composers, performers, poets, visual artists, and ornithologists. Selection is based on the artistic or intellectual project, the rigor and quality of the approach, links with Olivier Messiaen, and links with the region.
Opportunity / submission requirements: Residents work and live independently at Maison Messiaen. Residency duration may vary from a few days to several weeks depending on the project, availability, and other constraints. The site includes two small houses, each equipped with a piano and furnished for living.
Prize / benefit: Maison Messiaen makes the residency space available to selected residents. Residents agree to present their work and/or career path during the residency at a meeting with inhabitants of the Matheysine region.
