Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in a composition program, including BA, MA, PhD/OMA, or another composition education program. No previous experience with electroacoustic music is required.
Opportunity / submission requirements: The academy takes place at the Grieg Academy and Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design from 23 to 28 February 2027. The program brings together five composition students from the Grieg Academy and five selected international composition students. Applicants submit two distinct works and recordings, plus an up-to-date CV. MIDI recordings are not accepted.
Prize / benefit / support: The program includes composition lessons, technological guidance, mentoring, a four-day pedagogical program, two public concerts at Auditorium Knut Knaus, and professional documentation. Accommodation is covered by the program. Travel to and from Bergen is the responsibility of each participant.
