6th Ise-Shima International Composition Competition

Deadline	1 August 2026, 23:59 GMT.
Fee / cost	5,000 yen per work. The official rules state that the application fee is non-refundable and can be paid after completing the form by credit card or PayPal.
Eligibility	Open to all nationalities, with no age limit. Composers who have a close personal relationship with any member of the organization may apply only if they indicate this on the application form.
Opportunity / submission requirements	The competition is for classical and modern classical music. Instrumentation and duration are free, from solo work, choir, concerto, and orchestra to electroacoustic work. Applicants submit a full score PDF and/or recording through the application form. The score may be an explanatory document instead of traditional notation. The submitted work may already have been performed or awarded. Multiple works are allowed with separate forms and fees.
Prize / benefit / support	Grand Prix: 100,000 yen with certificate. Up to 35 special-prize winners receive certificates. Results are scheduled to be notified by email and published on the website on 31 August 2026.
